Greetings from the Philippines
In my previous letter I told you about a man who experienced a miraculous healing after a building accident. The Lord showed him what happens to sinners without Christ, and now the man testifies to everyone about the works of the Lord. He also testified to a paralyzed man who listened, accepted Christ and asked the Hosea team to pray for him too. A woman who had an alcoholic and violent husband also heard about these cases and asked the Hosea team to come to her home and pray for her husband. This soon took place, the team visited the woman’s home and the man agreed to be prayed for. During the prayer the man began to vomit violently and experienced deliverance. He also had a surprising request, as he wanted to open his home for Bible Studies. The remarkable healing of one person this led to the salvation and healing of many.

Luke 9:2 “And He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.”

God works in many, often surprising ways. We have a wonderful example from very recent weeks in our Hosea school. When the new school year started in June, new students were registered at our schools. Among the other mothers there was a woman who cried and begged us to take her autistic son to our school. Other schools had rejected the boy, and the last school had only kept him in for a few days before telling the mother that the boy was hopeless. He was angry and raging, and not suitable for normal schools. This child would have needed a specialist school, but there is none in Mindoro island.
The woman told us that she had heard that Hosea school had taken problem children in the past and that they had coped well. Because she was not a Christian, she originally did not want her child to go to a Christian school but in this desperate situation she had to humble herself and come to our enrolling day. There she was, crying and begging us to give her six-year-old son a chance. We decided to take him but only for a test period. Daisy, the mother of the little pastor Rio, agreed to take the task and teach the boy in the class for a couple of days before the other students would start the school.
The first two days were rather impossible. The boy raged, kicked and raged even more. Daisy sat him down, spoke calmly and began to pray for the boy to have a normal mind. After the prayer something wonderful started to take place: the restlessness diminished and the child calmed down, and soon Daisy and other people witnessed a huge miracle. The boy's mental and emotional states radically changed. Daisy did a really wonderful job with the boy, as she calmly explained everything he needed to learn before the school would start. After explanations she asked the boy to do simple tasks and encouraged him to try. After two days, the boy was placed among other schoolchildren, and now he is completely normal, happy and calm. And he learns new things really quickly. The boy's parents cried when they saw the results. When psychological methods did not work, God showed what he can do. This healing is now known to everyone in the area.

This, however, led to a slightly awkward situation, because other parents with autistic children have now also begged that their children could come to our Hosea school. Sadly, we cannot take others, because we are not a specialist school for disabled children. We don't have enough capacity. And the state does not provide any support for such work.
I only told this as an example of when man's own strength is not enough, nothing is impossible for God and He showed His power to an unbelieving family.
Nathan brought young Mathias from Norway to learn the mission work. They went around the Mindoro island, evangelizing in prisons and preaching the Gospel in state schools to 1200 schoolchildren, distributing food and preaching the Word in many dangerous remote areas. The army was again with them, supporting them and keeping them safe.

Job 42:2 “ I know that you can do all things and that no purpose of yours can be impossible for you to fulfill. “ John 9:4 “ As long as it is day, we must do His works..”
Heartfelt blessings to you all
Anne
